Apart from antiques – both originals and faithful replicas made for film productions – we also have a large collection of period and contemporary pieces to furnish settings such as rustic country houses, impoverished Dickensian households, the workshops of various craftsmen, pubs, inns and the like.
The Barrandov Props Department also features an extensive collection of smaller props. These include both period and contemporary electric appliances, glass, china as well as utensils and tableware made of other materials, toys, musical instruments, laboratory equipment and medical instruments, both copies and originals of old newspapers and magazines, vintage photographs, luggage, and an array of other props of various types, rendered in a variety of materials, forms and techniques.
Our offer includes a clearly arranged and carefully maintained collection of carpets and furnishing fabrics.
In our Props department, you can also find a carpentry and toreutic workshop, where props are professionally repaired and adjusted.
